It is the most interesting and bold burnt red color. The red color contrasted against the blue skies of D.C. is breathtaking.
Washington, D.C. has the most blue skies I've ever seen. This is a big reason why so many of my pictures have some part of the sky in them -- it's the perfect backdrop!
