Iwo Jima Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery recent shots

I went to the Marine Corps Memorial (often called the Iwo Jima Memorial) this week and took some shots.
At the end of the post, I've included some shots of Arlington National Cemetery.  A portion of the cemetery is next to the Marine Corps Memorial, so it was nice to be able to snap a couple of shots of the cemetery to add to my Arlington National Cemetery collection.

Holocaust Museum: Last day shots II

I finished editing the remainder of my shots from my last day at the Holocaust Museum (see set one here).

Holocaust Museum: Last day shots

Yesterday was a really wonderful, but sad day for me: it was my last day working at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.

I've been at the museum for nearly two years and truly love (most (ha!)) of my associates there.  While I'm excited about future opportunities, I will miss my "museum family" terribly.
Plus, I've studied the Holocaust and World War II extensively since I was a teenager, so it was an amazing opportunity to work at such a fine institution.

I snapped some shots during my last day there and here's some of them.  I may do one more post since I haven't finished editing all of the images (depending on time availability).
